Tribute to Tony Lewis

All of my Liberal Democrat colleagues and I are mourning the loss of Tony Lewis.
Tony was a champion for his community.
He worked tirelessly on behalf of local people in Horfield, and in Manor Farm in particular, and, with them, achieved a huge amount.
We were very fortunate that he chose the Lib Dems as his party and he was our candidate in Horfield in the upcoming local elections.
We will never know what the result would have been, but I know how hard Tony was campaigning and how he was determined to become a councillor in order to continue to serve the community he lived in and worked in.
I am proud to have had Tony as a colleague and friend.
On behalf of all Bristol Liberal Democrats I extend my deepest sympathies to his family and loved ones.
